Begin with route and payload.
Use representative route records rather than a single average distance. Record load, stop count, parking, auxiliary equipment, who drives and the longest day. Vehicle geometry, permitted payload and axle limits need model-specific checks. A battery-side energy assumption alone cannot establish commercial suitability.
Find the operational charging window.
Map when the van returns, when it must leave and where it rests between duties. The Charging Window tool checks aggregate energy arithmetic. It does not schedule vehicles, allocate a shared bay or approve an electrical installation.
Pilot before expanding.
Name the operational owner, the fallback vehicle or route and the measures that decide whether to widen the pilot. Review energy, downtime, driver experience and exceptions together. Keep the decision evidence visible.
