Keep the test cycle attached.
Vehicle range needs a named measurement protocol and a specific vehicle configuration. Compare the same cycle, then ask what differs in the actual journey. The Australian Government guide highlights this comparison discipline.

Test a less favourable day.
Cold weather, heating, road conditions and how the vehicle is used can alter consumption and range. FuelEconomy.gov reports test-specific cold-weather effects; those figures are not a universal penalty for every EV. The tool accepts your chosen consumption allowance without presenting it as measured vehicle performance.

Reserve is a decision, not spare distance to spend.
The Range & Stops calculation uses battery energy between the starting state and an arrival reserve, then a repeated post-charge window. It returns an energy lower bound for the number of stops, with a possible partial final refill. Actual station spacing can require an earlier or additional stop.
Energy arithmetic is not a route plan.
Check actual compatible sites, operating hours, alternative locations and conditions before travel. No live station feed, queue prediction or charging-time estimate is included. A zero-stop scenario still needs a real-world check.
